Helping Troubled People Build Toward a Better Life
This ministry offers a safe place for people to congregate and engage in activities designed to help those who are addicted to drugs, alcohol, or tobacco. We have qualified mentors on staff to help the addict's friends and family, as well.
Anyone who is or has been affected by addictions is invited to join us on a journey to freedom. Following the rules of good behavior and common courtesy is expected. We are here to help because we care!
Melvin and Evelyn Bowers are the program coordinators. Former meth users and dealers, they have been clean for 20 years, but decided that just being clean wasn't enough; they feel compelled to help others who are held captive by their addictions.
Freedom's Advocates has been established to show and give alternatives to the addict's lifestyle. We can help the addict be free from the despair of dependance on the things that keep them enslaved. There is a big, wide, beautiful world outside addiction!
