Our Purpose

Village Meadows Church of Christ Mission Statement

The Village Meadows Church of Christ is a body of believers whose purpose is to lift up Christ (John 3:13-15) to the community, the area, and the world. We pledge to walk in the Word (Colossians 3:16), live by the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:6), and be light to our world (Philippians 2:14-16), in order to draw others to Christ.

We will do this by truly loving each other and sharing that love with others (John 13:34-35), while depending on the love and grace of Christ to be our strength and guide (Philippians 4:13).

Our goal is to seek and save lost souls by:

• Promoting spiritual growth in the church family in all areas of work and service (2 Peter 3:18).
• Lifting up Christ to the community through benevolence and local outreach (Galatians 6:9-10; Ephesians 2:10).
• Aggressively spreading the gospel through local and foreign missions (Matthew 28:18-20).
